Joey Green, A.K.A.  Sophisticated (Born Joseph Isaiah Green) was born in Washington DC on May 21st, 1993. He began rapping in the Summer of 2007. During this time, he was only writing lyrics in a composition notebook. Sophisticated began to get serious with his rap career in July of 2009. He began to record his own tracks and produce some of his own beats. After a few months, Sophisticated released his first mixtape titled, "What Is Sophisticated?" (Released 4/17/10). After releasing "WIS", he immediately began working on his second mixtape titled, "From Me To You" (Released 8/20/10). Sophisticated continues to work on his music and collaborate with other artists. He is also a founder of a multi talented musical group called "The Committee", formed by him and friends. Sophisticated's main focus is his dedication time and effort that he puts into his music. Aside from recording many projects, he has collaborated with XYZay and Jake Catt for music videos. XYZay shot and directed "For The Kill" and "Unsung Hero". Jake Catt shot and directed "All Jokes Aside" and "Grimy". Sophisticated continues to make music and currently attends St. John's University in Queens, New York.
